OptiClik® and Its Parts

You can feel even more confident about injecting insulin with OptiClik® when you are familiar with its parts.

OptiClik® Parts

  • Pen Cap
    Protects OptiClik® from dust and breakage
  • Outer Needle Cap
    Assists removal of inner needle
  • Inner Needle Cap
    Helps to keep the needle as clean as possible; reduces the chance of accidental sticks
  • Needle
    Injects insulin into the body; there are two types of needles: a push-on or a screw-on
  • Cartridge
    Each cartridge holds 300 units of insulin
 
  • Cartridge Release Button
    Releases the used cartridge so you can replace it
  • Start Button
    Releases Dosage Knob, resets display to 00
  • Digital Dose Display
    Displays the number of units of insulin to be used
  • Dosage Knob
    Used to dial in and inject the prescribed dose of insulin
